Music has always been an integral part of worship. Psalm 150 states that everything that can make a sound should praise the Lord. At Sylvia Baptist, we believe in letting people use their gifts and talents for the glory of God. We have musicians, a praise team, and a few choirs. All these groups can be found leading during our worship services.

Praise Team

Made up of church members, our praise team leads us every Sunday morning in singing praises to Jesus Christ. We have a full stage of musicians and singers every Sunday. They are always looking for more talented members to join the team and become part of the rotation. The team leads us through both hymns and some contemporary music every Sunday.
